Day 1 Travel to Coorg @ Abbi Falls, Chiklihole Dam, Coffe Estate
Madikere (at Coorg) is a well-known hill station for tourists in Karnataka. It is situated 252 Km from Bangalore. It has mesmerising mountain ranges all over with luscious greenery and the tranquil waters of Cauvery river flowing through the hilly area.
Coorg is one of India's famous travel destination and has been called "The Scotland of India" by British and also called as the Kashmir of South India.
Coorg's natural beauty, the people, the culture and their food is the major attraction which draws people from all over the world.
It gives a rejuvenating feel to those who visit this place..
Bangalore to Coorg is almost 260 km and its takes a little more than 5 hours to reach Coorg by road. There are direct private and Ksrtc buses available daily from Bangalore.
2-3 days trip is advisable if you r going on a family pleasure trip.Its one of the Weekend getaways from Bangalore

CHIKLIHOLE DAM
Chiklihole Dam is not among the best tourist spots but a nice calm and peaceful picnic spot. The best part of Chiklihole Dam is the Sunset. It gives u the picturesque view and the thick forest around the Reservoir is a Beauty.

COFFEE AND PEPPER PLANTATIONS
Coffee has been grown in Coorg for over 100 years. The main crop grown in Coorg is coffee and pepper is interplanted within. Its very common for coffee estates to grow pepper. These plants climb up the tall trees that are grown to provide shade for the coffee plantation. Coorg produces two varieties of Coffee- Coffea Robusta and Coffea Arabica
